Our Products
We offer a complete product range of Teflon Adhesive Tape, cloth duct tape, double coated tape, hazard warning tape and structured glazing tape
3M VHB Structural Glazing Tape is a two-sided pressure sensitive acrylic foam tape designed to bond glass to metal frames in glass curtain wall systems. These tapes are specifically designed to withstand the stresses and performance requirements faced in 4-sided unitized shop glazed curtainwall.
3M VHB Structural Glazing Tapes have been used worldwide in thousands of glazing applications in the construction industry. To further support consideration for structural glazing applications, performance tests were conducted at an independent, accredited 3rd party test facility
Double-sided tapeis anypressure-sensitive tapethat is coated with adhesive on both sides. It is designed to stick two surfaces together, often in a way which is not visible in the end product, due to it being in between the objects rather than overlaying them. This allows for neater-looking projects and better craftsmanship. Double-sided tape can be either thin or dimensional. Dimensional tape is thicker, and is of particular use toretailand signage uses where it can be used to allow signs or displays to stand out with a 3-D effect.
Double-sided tape is created by applying a thin adhesive layer to each side of a carrier material. For example, double-sided tissue tape, an easy-to-rip double-sided tape, is created by applying adhesive to two sides of tissue paper, which is then wound with a siliconed paper to avoid it sticking to itself. Most adhesive tapes are manufactured in log form, such as a large 1 to 3 meter wide roll, and then an adhesive tape converter is used to slit the rolls into the required widths.
One type of double-sided tape, known as lingerie tape, secures clothing to skin, and is used with strapless dresses or loose skirts, and as a temporary fix for fallen hems and other clothing imperfections.
Filament tape or strapping tape is a pressure sensitive tape used for several packaging functions such as closing corrugated fiberboard boxes, reinforcing packages, bundling items, pallet unitizing, etc. It consists of a pressure sensitive adhesive coated onto a backing material which is usually a polypropylene or polyester film and fiberglass filaments embedded to add high tensile strength. It was invented in 1946 by Cyrus W. Bemmels, a scientist working for Johnson and Johnson.
A variety of grades of filament tape are available. Some have as much as 300 pounds of tensile strength per inch of width. Different types and grades of adhesive are also available.
Most often, the tape is 12 mm (approx. 1/2 inch) to 24 mm (approx. 1 inch) wide, but it is also used in other widths.
A variety of strengths, calipers, and adhesive formulations are available.
High-tack, pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive on one side of a strip of urethane or vinyl foam bonds the foam to most surfaces. For gasketing, sealing, baffling, cushioning and insulation. Select varying thicknesses of high- or low-density open cell urethane, and high- or medium-density closed cell vinyl.
Aluminum tape, also known as foil tape, has many uses in the electrical, HVACand construction industry. It can be used in jobs requiring moisture and chemical resistance, thermal conductivity, flame resistance, heat and light reflectance, and weatherability. There are several different styles of tape available, includingacrylicadhesive, line-less, polymer coated, and flame resistant aluminum glass tape.
Foil tape with anacrylic adhesiveis used for sealing off vapors infiberglass duct board, sheet metalducts and FSK systems. It is ideal for use in HVAC systems, due to its high tack cold weather acrylic adhesive, which helps it to adhere well, even in periods of low temperature and high humidity. It performs at its optimum level in temperatures between -40 and 250F (-4.4 and 121.1C), with a tensile strength of 21 pounds per inch (9.5 kg per 2.54 cm) of width.
Line-less aluminum tape is used for refrigeration duct bonding, due to its water-based acrylic adhesive and the absence of a liner. It can also be used for joining and sealingair ductseams and connections. This tape has a service temperature range of 68 to 248F (20 to 120C).
Cloth Tapes are one of the most common forms of adhesive tape and are used in a myraid of applications, due to there strength and conformability. The adhesive system most commonly used for Cloth Tapes is a rubber adhesive and, depending on the grade and quality, generally have poor U/V stability, so they are not suited for prolonged use outdoors. Nevertheless they are a versatile repair product.
