CASTING

Volute casting is made of close grained cast iron, designed with smooth spiral passage to Convert kinetic energy into pressure energy with low resistance to flow.

IMPELLER

The Impeller made of close grained cast iron has well designed vanes to convert most of the velocity into pressure with a high degree of efficiency.

SHAFT

Made of ground EN 9 Steel for minimum wear and tear and long life.

BALL BEARING

Grease lubricated ball bearing is of the highest quality to give noise and trouble free operation.

Diesel Engines

Diesel engines both in the indigenous market and abroad have received approbation for their reliability, economy in operation, durability longer life and exquisite performance. Specially designed to meet the needs of the agricultural sector and multi various general uses.

TYPE

Vertical, Water cooled, Air cooled, Compression ignition, Four stroke cycle, Cold start, constant speed diesel engines.

ROTATION

The Standard rotation is clock-wise facing the fly-wheel in High Speed engines and facing fuel pump in Slow Speed engines.

STARTING

Cold starting by manual cranking. A detachable pawl type starting handle is supplied.

FUEL SYSTEM

Fuel is supplied to the fuel pump by gravity feed from fuel tank through felt/fabric/paper element filter. A Button filter is also provided at the inlet of Automizer.

LUBRICATION

Force feed by plunger type lubricating oil pump to large end bearing. Main bearing, cam shaft bush bearing. Rocker arm bushes etc. are Splash lubricated in High speed engines but in slow speed engines value. Rocker bush are manually lubricated and all other parts are splash lubricated. In Double cylinder engines force feed by Gear type lubricating oil pump to main bearings, large end bearings and oil the parts are splash lubricated.

BEARINGS

Main bearings are tapper roller bearing. Large-end bearings and main bearing of Double Cylinder engines are white metal or aluminum alloy lined, steel backed thin walled bearings value rocker, Small end connecting rod cam shaft are provided with bush bearings.

GOVERNING

Constant Speed centrifugal governor is mounted on the cam shaft gear wheel. Speed variation is controlled within limits to comply with Indian Standard Specifications.

BALANCING

Engine is efficiently balanced with two balance weights boltes on Crank Shaft in high speed engine and in slow speed engine the balance weights are provided in fly wheel itself. Flywheel is statically balanced to give smooth operation and ensure long life of parts.

COOLING

Engines are water cooled and cooling is arranged by run through water supply or radiator or cooling tank. In Air cooled engines cooling fan is provided in the engine.

EXHAUST SYSTEM

To minimize the exhaust sound a pepper-port type silencer is provided.

AIR CLEANER

Oil bath type air cleaner is fitted for efficient cleaning of inlet air.

Plant / Production Capacity

ATUL DEEP WELL & HAND PUMP has a production capacity of 5000 Hand pumps per month. All spare parts are manufactured in own plant. The facilities in plant includes lathe machines, milling machines, slotting machines, fully automatic band-saw machine, cylindrical and center less machine, fabrication shop having welding sets, assembly shop, Quality Assurance & Quality Control lab etc.

AdvantageInstallation and maintenance of Deep well Hand pump is extremely simple and can be done by unskilled personnel with little training with size or well can be 100 to 150 mm. The pump has the pumping capacity from well as deep as 50 meters.

Pump has a mechanical advantage of 8:1 in the Handle Bar level which ensures effortless operation 7 8:1 i the Handle Bar level can easily operate the pump.

PLANT / PRODUCTION CAPACITY :Plant has production capacity of 100, 000 units per annum. All major components are manufactured within the plant under strict quality control supervision in line with the requirments of accredited Quality Management System as per ISO:9001-2000. The manufacturing machineries include Lathes, Milling, Slotting, Band-Saw, Power Presses, Hack-Saw, Welding Transformers etc.

DESCRIPTION :These Hand Pump are suitable for installatiion in Boreholes fitted with casing pipes of nominal diameter from 100mm. The hand pump unit is split into following assemblies

PUMP HEAD ASSEMBLY:It is also called as Above Ground Mechanism of the pump consisting of head, handle assembly, water tank & stand. The complete pump is fully hot dip galvanised for production against corrosion.

CYLINDER ASSEMBLY:It body is made of Graded Cast Iron having a seamless brass tube fitted in the bore. It also consists of a foot value assembly made of gunmetal as per IS:318-1981, Buckets and sealing rings made of Nitrile rubber.

CONNECING ROD:There are 10 Nos. of fully electroplated mild steel bars of 12mm diameter with hexagonal couplers and locknuts welded on both the ends.

RISER PIPE:32mm N, B, Galvanised Piper Medium The Piped are of 3 meters standard length along with socket.
