WE TAKE PLAY SERIOUSLY
Despite the recognized benefits of children’s play, it is increasingly under threat – a worrying fact that the United Nations highlighted in early 2013. Children’s play is under threat because of increasing urbanization, the increasing stress of family life and changes to the educational system.
Play and recreation are essential to children’s health & well-being. They promote the development of creativity, imagination, self-confidence, physical, social cognitive and emotional strength and skills. Most of the children don’t get time for play, as they are busy throughout the day with studies, sports, music, dance and other activities.
It’s time for us to save play and re-invent play systems for better play experiences.
