AFL has its manufacturing facility located at Agartala, Tripura. At present, the company has an installed capacity of 4200 tones p.a. built with Italian and Malaysian technologies, making it the 2nd largest Indian manufacturer of Heat Resistant Latex Rubber Thread in India.

These threads can withstand high processing temperatures. At least 85% of the modulus is retained after being exposed to 150 degree centigrade for two hours. Normal threads, on the other hand, cannot retain more than 50% modulus. Heat resistant threads come with a shorter shelf life and should not be stored for more than 6 months.

We have a competent engineering wing to design any colour to suit specific applications. We offer both- the toy grade as well as the fishing grade coloured rubber threads. While toy grade has better flammability characteristics, fishing grade is marked by vibrant colour and elongation feature.

Rubber threads help the diapers to stay firm in its position. To make good quality diapers, the most significant constituent is the elastomer attached in the diaper. By using good quality threads, the diapers can have an anatomical shape providing a better liquid barrier.
