Asfocoat-drp is a liquid chemical product used for surface preparation of metals before painting. The objective of treating metals with asfocoat-drp, before painting is to prolong the life of paints by offering it a compatible surface to which it will be locked. Asfocoat-drp removes oils, rust, soils, etc. And forms a phosphate coating integral with metal surface. COROBIT-EPA(Corrosion & Scale Preventive in Recirculating Cooling Water Systems) INTRODUCTION: Formation of scale deposits on waterside surface of heat exchangers in cooling water systems has been of troublesome factor to the operators of cooling systems. For regular production, it is the responsibility of the plant and maintenance engineers to run the plant at maximum efficiency without shutdown of plant for a considerable period. This trend for longer operation of plants is due to improved process side techniques which can reduce operating costs and turn out higher production with the same equipment and simultaneously decreases the overall maintenance costs. CORROSION CONTROL BY USE OF INHIBITOR: (COROBIT-EPA) It is a special blend of anodic and cathodic inhibitor based on inorganic salt and organophosphate mixture by which the efficiency of corrosion & scale control is improved, due to synergistic action. These compounds are in their ionic forms which are absorbed at cathodic or anodic areas forming protective film. This film prevents hydrogen ions from discharging at the cathode, thus inhibiting corrosion by cathodic polarization. It is non-chromate base and non toxic. It does not allow to form objectionable precipitate and prevents the precipitation of Calcium Carbonate. Also it does not hydrolyze at higher temperature. The use of this inhibitor is recommended in once through cooling system and recirculating cooling water where make up water is low in hardness and turbidity. pH should be maintained in the range of 6 to 7.5. For initial protection dosage of 50 ppm of COROBIT-EPA should be given thereafter it may be reduced 10 to 20 ppm. If DM water is used, dosage may be 3 to 5 ppm. It produces more adherent uniform protective film thereby reducing corrosion even at lower levels of 5 to 10 ppm due to synergised action on metal surfaces and cations.

Scalgun-ws(for removal of water scale deposits, cleaning boilers, heat exchangers etc.)description:scalgun-ws is an inhibited acidic composition formulated for rapid removal of water scale deposits in the heat transfer equipments, condensers, economisers, evaporators, water tube boilers, compressors, etc. Properties: it reduces maintenance cost and is more efficient than mechanical or hand cleaning. it also reduces labour requirements. scalgun-ws can reach those corners and crevices where manual or mechanical cleaning is impossible. the removal of scale allows heat transfer to take place more readily as small deposits of scale cause insulation with a resultant heat loss. normally the scale left from water in heat transfer equipments is composed of calcium or magnesium carbonates, sulphates, phosphates, silicates and iron oxide. scalgun-ws dissolves the majority of these deposits and insoluble constituents are loosened sufficiently to allow the deposits to be flushed off. application: there are two simple methods of using scalgun-ws for cleaning equipments, pipes, tubes etc. Either circulation or soaking. it is added to the equipment as the water is running into the system to be treated. if necessary, the solution can be heated to 50c for rapid action. however higher temperatures of more than 60c should be avoided.
