Guar Gum is a white to yellowish white powder. It is nearly odorless. Guar Gum Products is available in different viscosities and different granulometries depending on the desired viscosities and application. Guar Gum is a natural high molecular weight hydro colloidal polysaccharide composition and mannan units combined through glycosidic linkages, which may be described as galactomannan. Classified in 2 Category - 1) Straight Guar Gum Industrial Gum 2) Food Grade Guar Gum.

During the split manufacturing process, husk & germ are obtained. These are used as a valuable cattle feed as they are rich in protein. These are widely sold in the international market as Guar Meal & have contents of Oil & Albuminoids (O & A ). The O & A contents are about 50% in germ whereas it is about 25% in husks.

Cassia Tora L., (Cassia obtusifolia L.), Caesalpiniaceae, is a wild crop and grows in most parts of India. However, the main commercial supply comes from the states of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. Cassia tora is locally known as Puwad in Northern parts of India. Tamarind is the fruit of a large tropical tree grown in forests, orchards and as an avenue tree along the roads. It is mainly planted in the region of south india and some other parts of india. It takes more than 10 years for the tree to start yielding. Tamarind trees bloom once a year, during july-august and the tamarind fruits are ready to harvest by january-february. Each tree yields thousands of fruits. The size of each fruit is 10 cm to 15 cm long and 15 to 20 mm broad in a curved form. Each fruit contains 6 to 8 seeds. The fruit is protected with an outer shell of brown colour. These are called pods.
