Three-Phase Transformers are one of the work horses of a power transmission and distribution system. They are actually among the most often used on the transmission part of the system and are also an integral part of the industrial distribution system.

The more efficient generation systems are in three phases. APhase is essentially one portion of a period in which the armature of a generator completes one revolution. As it rotates, it passes by either fixed and permanent magnets or electromagnets attached to its casing on the inside, just a breath away from the armature and its windings or magnets.
Since there are commonly three circuits independent of each other, either on the armature or on the fields, it is considered that electricity produced this way is in three phases. Consequently, there will be three output lines and any transformer used to modify power coming from such a generator will also have to have three lines; one to handle each phase. Thus you have what is called a Three-Phase Transformer.

There may also be a fourth neutral line that allows simultaneous service for both high-voltage and single-phase applications.

Three-Phase Transformers are characterized by the presence of three separate coupled windings; each designed to transform one of the three incoming lines from the main generator, transmission or distribution source. In effect, a Three- Phase Transformer is actually a group of Single-Phase Transformers built into one. Therefore a Three-Phase Transformer can also be considered to be one of many others, as in Step-Up Transformer, Step-Down Transformer and Auto Transformer.

Using a Three-Phase Transformer assures proper power service for industrial applications with 240V supply needs. It is also common to split off a single-phase service from a Three-Phase Transformer. Once a service has been supplied from a single-phase source, as is found in most residential applications, it is necessary to use a special application, like a Rotary Phase Converter to run Three-Phase equipment.

Three-Phase is often cheaper and more efficient as it carries higher voltages that travel with less resistance over smaller lines. Cost of lines and losses to resistance are reduced and saves money.

Constant Voltage Transformer

There are times when one feels that a stabilizer is not enough. After all, a stabilizer can correct voltage with a certain finite speed. We would think that our instruments are connected to a stabilizer and are unaware of the fact that it is stilt passing on the spikes, voltage surges, glitches, noise etc. Which are so short, that it cannot be corrected by a stabilizer.

What then? The answer is a C.V.T. from 'ASEEM-OORJA'® This works on magnetic saturation principle, resonating with a tank circuit of high Q factor. When incoming Mains voltage is low the capacitor provides the necessary additional gain in power, keeping the output voltage steady. On the other hand , when the mains voltage is high the leakage reactance drops the difference of voltage. This correction of voltage is instantaneous even for sudden dips and spikes.

Ultra Isolation Transformer

Ultra Isolation Transformers are needed whenever a clean Power is needed. The instruments that are sensitive to Electrical Noise like Heart Beat Monitor, Ultra Sound Instruments, Giga Counters, UHF Transmitters and Receivers; Ultra Isolation Transformer is an excellent solution.

This transformer is built with great care and caution. The Primary and Secondary are split and Inter-Winding Capacitance is considerably reduced by incorporating a Special Shielding Method. The Magnetic Currents are also controlled using the Stamping Grounding Method.

The Isolation can be achieved to a degree of 120db and Inter-Winding capacitance of 0005pf can be achieved.

Modular Ups

The Modular UPS systems have become a necessity in the industries with continuous process and Data centers. Where even a small unscheduled break is not affordable, a modular system is a must. However two models are made available in the modular type: Power + SA and Power + model.



1.The Power + Model is a true modular system with features like HOT SWAPPABLE MODULES AND BATTERIES. The systems are constructed using modules of 10KVA or 25KVA as the case may be. Each module is an Online UPS in its complete sense. Each module can work as a Stand Alone UPS system. When stacked upon each other; they add up to make a Higher Capacity System with complete redundancy. These systems can be designed to reach up to 500KVA.

2.The Power+ SA Model is also made up of modules of 10KVA each. However they are not Hot Swappable and a shut-down is required for replacing the module. These systems are available up to 80KVA.

Servo Controlled Voltage Stabilizer
