The TRIO-TM-50.0/60.0 is ABB’s latest three-phase string solution for cost efficient large decentralized photovoltaic systems for both commercial and utilityapplications.

This new addition to the TRIO family, with 3 independent MPPT and power ratings of up to 60 kW (480 V version), has been designed with the objective to maximize the ROI in large systems with all the advantages of a decentralized configuration for both rooftop and ground-mounted installations.
Modular designThe TRIO-TM-50.0/60.0 has a modular design to guarantee maximum flexibility, thanks to the different versions available.
The separate and configurable AC and DC compartments increase the ease of installation and maintenance with their ability to remain separately wired from the inverter module inside the system. The TRIO comes with the most complete wiring box configurations available including up to 15 DC inputs with fast connectors, string protection fuses, AC and DC switches and type II AC and DC surge arresters.
Design flexibilityThe double stage conversion topology offers the advantage of a wide input voltage range for maximum flexibility of system design. The TRIO-TM comes with a forced air cooling system, used also in the previous TRIO products, designed for a simple and fast maintenance, allowing a maximum flexibility of plant design. The inverter comes with mounting supports for both horizontal and vertical installations, which allow for the best use of space available beneath the solar panels.Embedded multi communication interfaces (WLAN, Ethernet, RS485) combined with a Sunspec compliant Modbus protocol (RTU/TCP) allow the inverter to be easily integrated with any third party monitoring and control systems.
Improved commissioning and maintenance Thanks to the build-in Web User Interface (WUI) the installer can commission the inverter wirelessly and change advanced parameters by using any standard WLAN enabled device (smartphone, tablet or PC). Integrated logging capability allows remote monitoring of the plant without the need of any additional external loggers. Remote firmware update of the inverter system andcomponents via Aurora Vision®.

The PVS-50/60-TL is ABB’s cloud connected three-phase string solution enabling cost efficient large decentralized photovoltaic systems for both commercial and utility applications.
This new addition to the PVS string inverter family, with 3 independent MPPT and power ratings of up to 60 kW, has been designed with the objective to maximize the ROI in large systems with all the advantages of a decentralized configuration for both rooftop and ground-mounted installations.

Compact design Thanks to technological choices aimed at optimizing installation times and costs, the product design features the power module and wiring box enclosed in a single compact chassis thus saving installation resources and costs. The inverter comes in multiple versions also allowing the possibility to connect to third-party DC string combiners.

Ease of installation The horizontal and vertical mounting possibility creates flexibility for both rooftop and ground mounted installations. Moreover the cover is equipped with hinges and locks that are fast to open and reduce the risk of damaging the chassis and interior components when commissioning and performing maintenance actions.

Advanced cloud connected features Standard wireless access from any mobile device makes the configuration of inverter and plant easier and faster. Improved user experience thanks to a built-in User Interface (UI) enables access to advanced inverter configuration settings.  The Installer for Solar Inverters mobile app and configuration wizard enable a quick multi-inverter installation, saving up to 70% commissioning time.

Fast system integrationIndustry standard Modbus (RTU/TCP)/SUNSPEC protocol enables fast system integration. Two ethernet ports enable fast and future-proof communication for PV plants. ABB plant portfolio integration Monitoring your assets is made easy, as every inverter is capable to connect to ABB cloud platform to secure your assets and profitability in long term.

  • ISOT Technology - NXG Solar UPS uses Intelligent Solar Optimization Technique (ISOT). Once the batteries get charged, it cuts off grid power and supplies electricity through solar panels thus maximizing solar energy usage. This helps you save up to 3 units of electricity per day. Substantial money savings in the long run.
  • Fast charging through i-Charge Technology - If there are long power cuts in your area, you can use the i-charge fast charging mode for charging batteries in a short time when grid power is available. Note that when i-Charge is switched ON, Power saver mode is deactivated and the ups takes higher charging current from the grid. To activate this mode, use the i-charge ON/OFF switch at the back.
  • ECO and UPS mode - The NXG Solar UPS can run on two modes - UPS and ECO mode. UPS mode should be selected when the user wants to run computers. In the UPS mode, the system switches to battery backup if the mains voltage drops below 180 V.

This platform, for extreme high power string inverters with power ratings up to 120 kW, maximizes the ROI for decentralized ground mounted and large rooftop applications. With six MPPT energy harvesting is optimized even in shading situations.
Extreme power with high integration levelThe extreme high power module up to 120 kW saves installation resources as less units are required. Due to its compact size further savings are generated in logistics and in maintenance. Thanks to the integrated DC/AC disconnection, 24 string connections, fuses and surge protection no additional boxes are required.
Ease of installationThe horizontal and vertical mounting possibility creates flexibility for both ground mounted and rooftop installations. High power package for decentralized PV systems

ABB’s three-phase PRO-33 string inverter is designed for medium and large decentralized PV systems either on large-scale commercial and industrial rooftops or ground-mounted PV plants. The inverter offers cost-efficiency in a high power, wall-mountable package with very high conversion efficiency. The all-in-one design with built-in and monitored PV plant protection devices reduces the need of costly external devices.

 

The single maximum power point tracker (MPPT) and optimized MPPT window are suitable for uniformshaped PV plants with long strings connected to the inverter. The high maximum DC input voltage of up to 1100 V gives PV plant designers extra flexibility and allows more PV modules to be connected in series to reduce cabling costs.

Configurable all-in-one design

The ABB PRO-33.0 string inverter comes in three product variants. The standard model with or without DC switch is designed for use with an external string combiner box. The all-in-one model with built-in string combiner box includes a DC switch, string current monitoring with alarm, PV fuses, monitored surge protection devices and tool-less solar quick connectors. The inverter’s all-in-one design, with built-in and monitored PV plant protection devices, reduces the need of costly external devices.

 

High total efficiency maximizes return on investment

The PRO-33.0 inverter offers a high conversion and MPP tracking efficiency in all conditions. A flat efficiency curve provides high revenues in low and high radiation conditions.

 

Fast and easy commissioning

Fast PV plant commissioning is enabled via preprogrammed country grid code settings that are easily selectable. Extensive certification ensures wide grid code compatibility. Plug and Play DC and AC connectors enable fast and safe cabling. A touch protected installation area provides additional safety and comfort for inverter installation and maintenance.

High power densityThis new high-power string inverter, with the largest high power density within the 1500 Vdc segment, delivers up to 185 kVA at 800 Vac and can achieve an ultra-high-power density of 1.3 kW/kg. Design flexibilityThe inverter comes equipped with 12 MPPT, the highest available in the market, assuring maximum PV plant design flexibility and increasing yields also in case of complex installations.

The topology of the larger, commercial TRIO inverters has been redesigned to ensure that the TRIO- 5.8/7.5/8.5 models also enjoy high conversion efficiency across a wide range of input  oltages. Optional integrated dataloggers and smart grid  functionality, remote firmware updating and elegantly simple sliding front covers make these all-in-one devices easy to install and maintain. In short, they are commercial grade engineering at residential scale.
 Inverters packed with powerful featuresThe double maximum power point tracker (MPPT) gives maximum installation flexibility for an optimal energy production (TRIO-7.5/8.5 models). This line of inverters can integrate power control, monitoring functionalities and environmental sensor inputs, without requiring external components.
A compact Ethernet expansion card provides data logging functionality for monitoring the main parameters of the plant as well as advanced O&M operations both locally (with the integrated webserver) and remotely (with the AV Plant Portfolio Manager portal), via a LAN connection.
The outer cover with its natural cooling mechanism qualifies at IP65 environmental protection level for external use. It provides maximum reliability and ease of installation, with a sliding front panel giving access to the connection and configuration area without requiring the complete removal of the cover.

Modular designTRIO-50.0/60.0 has a landscape modular design to guarantee maximum flexibility. The TRIO-50.0/60.0 comes with the most complete wiring box configurations available including up to 16 DC inputs with fast connectors, monitored fuses, AC and DC switches and monitored type II AC andDC surge arresters.
Flexibility of installation The forced air cooling system, designed for a simple and fast maintenance allows for the maximum flexibility of installation. The inverter comes with mounting supports for both horizontal and vertical positions which allow for the best use of space available beneath the solar panels.

All power ratings share the same overall volume, allowing higher performance in a minimum space, and have a dual Maximum Power Point Tracker (2 MPPT).
Easy to install, fast to commissionThe presence of plug and play connectors, both on the DC and AC side, as well as the wireless communication, enable a simple, fast and safe installation without the need of opening the frontcover of the inverter.
The featured easy commissioning routine removes the need for a long configuration process, resulting in lower installation time and costs. Improved user experience thanks to a build in UserInterface (UI), which enables access to features such as advanced inverter configuration settings, dynamic feed-in control and load manager, from any WLAN enabled devices (smartphone, tablet or PC).
Smart capabilitiesThe embedded logging capabilities and direct transferring of the data to Internet (via Ethernet or WLAN) allow customers to enjoy the whole Aurora Vision® remote monitoring experience.

The TRIO-TM-50.0/60.0 is ABB’s latest three-phase string solution for cost efficient large decentralized photovoltaic systems for both commercial and utilityapplications.

This new addition to the TRIO family, with 3 independent MPPT and power ratings of up to 60 kW (480 V version), has been designed with the objective to maximize the ROI in large systems with all the advantages of a decentralized configuration for both rooftop and ground-mounted installations.
Modular designThe TRIO-TM-50.0/60.0 has a modular design to guarantee maximum flexibility, thanks to the different versions available.
The separate and configurable AC and DC compartments increase the ease of installation and maintenance with their ability to remain separately wired from the inverter module inside the system. The TRIO comes with the most complete wiring box configurations available including up to 15 DC inputs with fast connectors, string protection fuses, AC and DC switches and type II AC and DC surge arresters.
Design flexibilityThe double stage conversion topology offers the advantage of a wide input voltage range for maximum flexibility of system design. The TRIO-TM comes with a forced air cooling system, used also in the previous TRIO products, designed for a simple and fast maintenance, allowing a maximum flexibility of plant design. The inverter comes with mounting supports for both horizontal and vertical installations, which allow for the best use of space available beneath the solar panels.Embedded multi communication interfaces (WLAN, Ethernet, RS485) combined with a Sunspec compliant Modbus protocol (RTU/TCP) allow the inverter to be easily integrated with any third party monitoring and control systems.
Improved commissioning and maintenance Thanks to the build-in Web User Interface (WUI) the installer can commission the inverter wirelessly and change advanced parameters by using any standard WLAN enabled device (smartphone, tablet or PC). Integrated logging capability allows remote monitoring of the plant without the need of any additional external loggers. Remote firmware update of the inverter system andcomponents via Aurora Vision®.

The PVS-50/60-TL is ABB’s cloud connected three-phase string solution enabling cost efficient large decentralized photovoltaic systems for both commercial and utility applications.
This new addition to the PVS string inverter family, with 3 independent MPPT and power ratings of up to 60 kW, has been designed with the objective to maximize the ROI in large systems with all the advantages of a decentralized configuration for both rooftop and ground-mounted installations.

Compact design Thanks to technological choices aimed at optimizing installation times and costs, the product design features the power module and wiring box enclosed in a single compact chassis thus saving installation resources and costs. The inverter comes in multiple versions also allowing the possibility to connect to third-party DC string combiners.

Ease of installation The horizontal and vertical mounting possibility creates flexibility for both rooftop and ground mounted installations. Moreover the cover is equipped with hinges and locks that are fast to open and reduce the risk of damaging the chassis and interior components when commissioning and performing maintenance actions.

Advanced cloud connected features Standard wireless access from any mobile device makes the configuration of inverter and plant easier and faster. Improved user experience thanks to a built-in User Interface (UI) enables access to advanced inverter configuration settings.  The Installer for Solar Inverters mobile app and configuration wizard enable a quick multi-inverter installation, saving up to 70% commissioning time.

High power package for decentralized PV systems

ABB’s three-phase PRO-33 string inverter is designed for medium and large decentralized PV systems either on large-scale commercial and industrial rooftops or ground-mounted PV plants. The inverter offers cost-efficiency in a high power, wall-mountable package with very high conversion efficiency. The all-in-one design with built-in and monitored PV plant protection devices reduces the need of costly external devices.

 

The single maximum power point tracker (MPPT) and optimized MPPT window are suitable for uniformshaped PV plants with long strings connected to the inverter. The high maximum DC input voltage of up to 1100 V gives PV plant designers extra flexibility and allows more PV modules to be connected in series to reduce cabling costs.

Configurable all-in-one design

The ABB PRO-33.0 string inverter comes in three product variants. The standard model with or without DC switch is designed for use with an external string combiner box. The all-in-one model with built-in string combiner box includes a DC switch, string current monitoring with alarm, PV fuses, monitored surge protection devices and tool-less solar quick connectors. The inverter’s all-in-one design, with built-in and monitored PV plant protection devices, reduces the need of costly external devices.

 

High total efficiency maximizes return on investment

The PRO-33.0 inverter offers a high conversion and MPP tracking efficiency in all conditions. A flat efficiency curve provides high revenues in low and high radiation conditions.

 

Fast and easy commissioning

Fast PV plant commissioning is enabled via preprogrammed country grid code settings that are easily selectable. Extensive certification ensures wide grid code compatibility. Plug and Play DC and AC connectors enable fast and safe cabling. A touch protected installation area provides additional safety and comfort for inverter installation and maintenance.

High power densityThis new high-power string inverter, with the largest high power density within the 1500 Vdc segment, delivers up to 185 kVA at 800 Vac and can achieve an ultra-high-power density of 1.3 kW/kg. Commercial grade engineering at residential scale

The topology of the larger, commercial TRIO inverters has been redesigned to ensure that the TRIO- 5.8/7.5/8.5 models also enjoy high conversion efficiency across a wide range of input  oltages. Optional integrated dataloggers and smart grid  functionality, remote firmware updating and elegantly simple sliding front covers make these all-in-one devices easy to install and maintain. In short, they are commercial grade engineering at residential scale.
 Inverters packed with powerful featuresThe double maximum power point tracker (MPPT) gives maximum installation flexibility for an optimal energy production (TRIO-7.5/8.5 models). This line of inverters can integrate power control, monitoring functionalities and environmental sensor inputs, without requiring external components.
A compact Ethernet expansion card provides data logging functionality for monitoring the main parameters of the plant as well as advanced O&M operations both locally (with the integrated webserver) and remotely (with the AV Plant Portfolio Manager portal), via a LAN connection.
The outer cover with its natural cooling mechanism qualifies at IP65 environmental protection level for external use. It provides maximum reliability and ease of installation, with a sliding front panel giving access to the connection and configuration area without requiring the complete removal of the cover.

  • The presence of plug and play connectors, both on the DC and AC side, as well as the wireless communication, enable a simple, fast and safe installation without the need of opening the front

The TRIO-50.0/60.0 inverter is ABB’s three-phase string solution for cost efficient large decentralized photovoltaic systems for both commercial and utilityapplications.
The TRIO-50.0/60.0 inverter has been designed with the objective to maximize the ROI in large systems with all the advantages of a decentralizedconfiguration for both rooftop and groundmounted installations.
Modular designTRIO-50.0/60.0 has a landscape modular design to guarantee maximum flexibility. The separate and configurable AC and DCcompartments increase the ease of installation and maintenance with their ability to remain separately wired from the inverter module inside the system. The TRIO-50.0/60.0 comes with the most complete wiring box configurations available including up to 16 DC inputs with fast connectors, monitored fuses, AC and DC switches and monitored type II AC andDC surge arresters.
Flexibility of installation The forced air cooling system, designed for a simple and fast maintenance allows for the maximum flexibility of installation. The inverter comes with mounting supports for both horizontal and vertical positions which allow for the best use of space available beneath the solar panels.
Design flexibilityThe double stage conversion topology offers the advantage of a wide input voltage range for maximum flexibility of the system design.
