BB100 BORING FACING MACHINEThe BB100 machine utilizes a 4'' (101mm) diameter boring bar used in conjunction with the drive ring for applications involving internal facing and boring. The boring bar arrangement consists of a machining head, drive plate, internal support chuck unit, and features automatic radial and axial feeds. Machining ranges are from 7'' (178mm) to 20' (508mm) in the radial direction, with an axial travel of 35'' (889mm). Main uses include refurbishing internal sealing surfaces and through bores often found in valves, pumps and compressors. BB BORING FACING MACHINEThe BB machine is ideal for line boring and facing applications and is offered in a standard 40'' (1016mm) length covering diameters from 4'' (101mm) to 18''(457mm). The BB has 334'' (95mm) diameter boring bar and is driven by the drive ring. The machine is supplied with an internal steady bearing arrangement, and offers a choice of two surface finishes. Automatic axial feed is controlled by a reduction gearbox in conjunction with a digital readout, while the radial feed uses a pick up gear that is manually controlled by the operator. Main uses include machining of Governor Valves as well as recessed sealing areas in pumps and compressors.
