Jacketed Reactor

A second shell is installed over a portion of the vessel, creating an annular space within which cooling or heating medium flows. A simple conventional jacket, with internal stiffener ring components, is generally efficient for heat transfer when the flow media is Steam or Dowtherm. Internals include baffles that direct flow in a spiral pattern around the jacket, and agitating nozzles that cause high turbulence at the point where the fluid is introduced into the jacket.

Limpet Coil Reactor

Aries Fabricators limpet reactor/coil reactor is made byweldinga half pipe around the outside of the vessel to create a semi circular flow channel. The heat transfer fluid passes through the channel in aplug flowfashion. Large reactors use several coils to deliver the heat transfer fluid. Like the single jacket, the temperature in the coil/limpet reactor is regulated to control heating or cooling. The plug flow characteristics of a limpet/coil reactor permits faster displacement of the heat transfer fluid (typically less than 60 seconds). This is desirable for good temperature control. It also provides good distribution of heat transfer fluid which avoids the problems of non uniform heating or cooling between the side walls and bottom dish.

Twin Shaft Dispersers

Twin shaft disperser machine is suitable for mixing of ointments, inks, sauces, pastes, foam, used in the pharmaceutical, food, chemical and allied industries. The mixing blades revolve in opposite direction to sweep the entire circumference of the vessel as well as rotate around its own axis. Intimate mixing is achieved in short intervals. The mixing elements are raised vertically by an electric or hydraulic lifting or lowering arrangement. The vessel can be removed and next batch can be kept ready for processing in these Twin Shaft Disperser. Mixing elements can be cleaned completely with vessel removed or by rotating the blades in the vessel loaded with solvent. A high speed emulsifier is provided in the center of Twin Shaft Disperser machine for thorough mixing of the mass.
