Corrugated Polycarbonate Sheet allow light transmission between 44% and 82% depending on thickness. Whereas Opal grades allow light transmission between 24% and 58%. Sheet has a onetwo sided surface coating which provides protection against the damaging of UV radiation in sunlight ( basically providing resistance to yellowing ) and notably is self extinguishing and difficult to ignite. Another distinguished character is that the Sheet is extremely light in waight which result in significunt advantages in transportation, handling and installation as well as allowing fewer structural supports. It is easy to cut, shape and install and can used flat or cold formed into curved glazing bars and can be installed flat or cold curve to a minimum radius of 175 times the sheet thickness. It can be cut and drilled with conventional tools. Sheet can be made with solar coating to block the heta transmission from sun rays giving a coating effect.

Onduline sheets are manufactured by impregnating organic cellulose fibres with bitumen under high temperature and pressure. The sheets are pre pigmented with special purpose resins. The impregnation of colour into the sheets is done using patented techniques that enable the sheets to retain their colour over a longer period of time even under harsh conditions. The patented manufacturing process ensures uniform bitumen penetration into the sheets providing an excellent dimensional stability to the product and thereby preventing delamination.
