Type of Flavour
JH, or Jumbo Half, is basically cashew nut which is split into half, as known as bigger Pakali. Nuts of grade W180 and W210 are split vertically. This kind of cashew is used in sweets.
This is an interesting grade of cashew. Here, the nut is not sliced or not partitioned. Instead, you have fragments and large pieces of the entire nut. This grade is locally known as tukda kaju. This kind of cashew is used largely by the common masses to make sweet dishes at home, and is sold at general stores as well.
Pakali in local language means split. The nut is vertically cut so that get two equal slices of the same nut. This kind of nut is used by sweets shops or bakeries or restaurants serving desserts with split cashew pieces on them.
Moving on to the smaller version of the tukda kaju. This is a more reliable option and a cheaper one, if you are to consider spending less money for cashew nuts.
W 180 in short, is the BIGGER SIZE. Now, in the international system of grading, 18 nuts of the same dimension fit in a bag of 45 grams. Hence the number 180. This is the largest size of cashew sold by our company as well.
In this case, 32 nuts of the similar dimension fit in a bag of 45 grams. Hence the number 320.
Pakali is basically the entire slice of the nut. When the slice is fragmented into small pieces, you have a new grade which is categorised as K. Here you can see small pieces of the Pakali variety. This kind of cashew is used by sweets shops predominantly to prepare the world famous kaju katli.
Consider a very small fragment of the nut. A very small portion of the nut which is crushed to pieces. Well there you have your new grade! That is why it goes by the name Baby Bites. This kind of cashew is used by restaurants to add taste and flavour to those delicious curries which are served to the people at large. Who knows, if you are having some curry and it tastes better than the others, it is definitely our cashew which is used to prepare it!
W210 in short. Here, 24 nuts of the similar dimension fit in a bag of 45 grams. Hence the number 240.
