Some 38 blocks or more, each weighing about 50 to 80 tonnes were placed on top of the ceiling. Above these four granite chambers is a limestone gable, which it is said, was designed to distribute the weight to the north and south walls of the burial chamber. Modern architects and engineers disagree that these chambers function to relieve or distribute the weight of the pyramid pushing down on the chamber below. Why have so many chambers when a single gable could be built above the flat ceiling of the King's chamber to distribute the weight from above to the walls? One might even ask why the Queen's chamber, being situated lower in the pyramid's structure and made of a softer and therefore less structurally sound stone, would not need similar protection.
Commercial pavers is a cost effective, durable alternate method of paving as compared to rigid concrete paving or flexible asphalt paving. The applications are varied such as in ports, container terminals, industrial hard standing areas, bus / truck terminal, slow speed roads, residential / commercial drive ways, petrol filling stations, aircraft taxiways etc. Over the years, the product has become very popular and has been specified for various projects all over India. Commercial pavers are available in a wide variety of shapes, patterns, strengths, sizes and colours.
Fly ash brick (FAB) is a building material, specifically masonry units, containing class C fly ash and water. Compressed at 28 MPa (272 atm) and cured for 24 hours in a 66 C steam bath, then toughened with an air entrainment agent, the bricks last for more than 100 freeze-thaw cycles. Owing to the high concentration of calcium oxide in class C fly ash, the brick is described as "self-cementing". The manufacturing method saves energy, reduces mercury pollution, and costs 20% less than traditional clay brick manufacturing.
A tile is a manufactured piece of hard-wearing material such as ceramic, stone, metal, or even glass, generally used for covering roofs, floors, walls, showers, or other objects such as tabletops. Alternatively, tile can sometimes refer to similar units made from lightweight materials such as perlite, wood, and mineral wool, typically used for wall and ceiling applications. In another sense, a tile is a construction tile or similar objects.
Tiles are often used to form wall and floor coverings, and can range from simple square tiles to complex mosaics. Tiles are most often made of ceramic, typically glazed for internal uses and unglazed for roofing, but other materials are also commonly used, such as glass, cork, concrete and other composite materials, and stone.
Features
We manufacture and distribute a diverse selection of decorative and high-performance segmental retaining wall (SRW) systems for residential and commercial use. SRW's have many advantages over other methods of slope control. SRW's are designed to perform differently and unlike boulders, timbers, and poured walls, they can be installed to amazing heights, using a wide variety of colors, sizes and textures and can be engineered to handle extreme loads. Depending on the system, most SRW's can be create sharp turns, tight radius or smooth curves, straight lines, vertically or with a setback to turn sloped ground into open, usable spaces for patios, pathways, driveways, egress windows and more. Consult a professional wall contractor to help choose the wall system that best meets your application requirements and budget.
Advantage
There are many distinct features of ICBP as compared to the conventional methods of pavement construction and hence make it a suitable option for application in the specified areas [7 & 10]. Some of these are:
Features
Strength, durability and style are the special characteristics of Solid block works. As core of building material it has stood the test of time and is now meeting the needs of modern designers as more attention is given to textures, quality and protection from fire and sound.
Solid block work remains a totally flexible product and instills confidence in the minds of designers and users alike.
Benefits
Zig Zag, paving stone design provides numerous options to architects and floor designers to make attractive patterns of exterior floors. High compressive strength, crushing load and attractive colors makes ZigZag an instant choice for those who want to make their floors look different. Strong interlocking grooves and precise thickness reduces the laying time to minimum level which is an additional benefit for contractors to save labor cost.
Zig Zag design is an ideal flooring for industrial use where heavy traffic movement is required such as Container terminals, oil facility, oil and gas fields, storage godowns.
