Pilling tester is used to replicate pilling in fabrics under standard test conditions as per ICI Method.
Pilling tester with digital LCD controls. A Unit comes with 2 pilling boxes with standard cork lining fitted inside and 5-digit pre-set counter. The boxes are rotated about their central axis as per standard conditions.
Accessories include specimen mounting jig, specimen inserting tool, tape, marker pen, test template, 8 nos of pilling tubes and scissor.

It consists of a rotating jaw which is motor driven and next is stationary which is fitted on tensioning assembly. It works on twist-untwist method. Microprocessor based control panel is provided for setting the equipment according to single & double yarn. Digital display of TPI in the control panel is also provided. Tensioning weight from 1 50 g is supplied with the machine.

Random tumble pilling tester determines the resistance of textile fabrics both woven and knitted to the formation of pills and other related surface changes.
