These machines are very simple to handle but of Robust built and ensure maximum safety. Slotting Machines are made of High quality of grade material of close grained cast iron with requisite hardness. The gears run very smooth in the gear box and are made from special steel and cut on gear shaping and nobbing machines. All the gears are hardened and lapped finished. Three different speeds of ram strokes are arranged by a single lever control system . The Rotary table fitted with indexing plate is graduated in degrees on its periphery for coarse setting.

COLUMN :The column consists of two parts which are adequately ribbed & securely held together to form a rigid unit. The deep throat enables a wide variety of parts to be machined.
DRIVE :The electric motor drives the clutch pulley and the gears fitted in the column. From there the power is transmitted to the ram by the means of link mechanism. The ram-movement is started by engaging clutch. The link mechanism allows for an accelerated ram movement in return stroke Ram speed changes are effected by sliding gears controlled by shaft through gear box.
RAM :The ram is well ribbed and is quite strudy. An taper wedge is provided
for smooth running. The ram can be tilted 5 degree on demand and swiveled 10 degree in case of 400 mm stroke. TABLE:The table is circular and is provided with T-Slots. It is divided on its circumference into 360 degrees. A tapered whole is provided in the centre of the table for reception of the centering mendral while machining circular slotting work. Direct indexing is provided for accurately locating the table in various positions. FEED :The feed mechanism mounted on the column through side gear box. The feeds are infinitely within the range of 0.2 mm to 1.5 mm. In case of 450 mm stroke 0.2 mm to 2 mm per cycle. The feeds can be adjusted when machine is at the rest. OUTSTANDING FEATURES :

These screw presses are specially designed to make bolt head of any kinds of nuts, rivets, motor parts, axle half shaft, engine valve and nonferrous forgings. Vincent presses are screw presses with friction drive on which the forging blow takes place in an upward direction i.e. from bottom towards top. On machines employing the vincent principle The screw nut is positioned in the top cross head of a frame type ram.
Thus ram being moved upwards in exial direction by rotation of longitudinally fixed screw. The bottom die of the Forging tools is secured to the lower cross head of the ram while the top die is fitted to a fixed bridge which is the part of the machine frame be employing this design, the forging forces do not act on the machine frame but are sustained by the ram. Ejector is provided at the lower part of the ram.
