The Fully Encapsulated Trim Seal Butterfly valve design completely isolates body from the flowing media, thus eliminating the use of expensive body materials. Extended neck allows for adequate clearance of piping insulation and provide room for access to actuator mounting studs.

Self adjusting shaft seal of Trim Seal Butterfly valve is incorporated to prevent ingress of foreign material with the body shaft bore. The . double U cup design allows positive sealing in both directions and acts as a secondary shaft seal in emergency situations, while the Primary seal which is pre-loaded self compensating, synergistic primary seal, completely isolates the shaft from the flowing media and provides positive sealing at all angles of opening. An essential feature of the Butterfly Valve, the shaft busing absorbs side loads applied to the disc by the flowing media and for eccentrically mounted actuators.

AIV BFV10 Model Butterfly Valveincorporates the optimum design features to provide long trouble free service in the field. This general purpose soft seated Butterfly valve has a fully rubber lined single piece body with centric disc construction and is available in wafer type body pattern.

The body liner which also functions as the soft seat, comes in either a replaceable version or an integrally molded (bonded) version and offers 100% bi-directional sealing against vacuum to rated pressure of PN 10 or PN 16.

The wafer style body has universal design to fit between pipe flanges of almost all popular flange standards.

Disk Check Valves must be fitted in accordance with the direction of flow arrow indicating correct fluid flow direction. When fitted with a spring they can be installed in any plane. when supplied without a spring these must be fitted in a vertical with the follow from bottom to top.
