Electric Vibratory Motors

Single phase vibratory motors manufactured at Amber are motors with heavy steel graded cast iron bodies and with adjustable unbalance masses at both ends suitable for vibrating any equipment used for emptying, dosing, testing, compacting, cleaning, screening, loosening, distributing, conveying or feeding. Single Phase Vibrating Motors from Amber come with a capacitor starter panel. Amber Vibrators are such designed that they generate maximum vibration with minimum input power. These vibratory motors are totally enclosed dirt and dust proof constructed and the amplitude of vibration can be easily controlled in it. Heavy duty roller/ball permanently greased bearings ensure long, trouble free and maintenance free operation in Amber Vibratory motors. Applications of Vibratory motors are numerous as they can be used in batching plants, construction machines, small parts finishing or polishing machines, ceramic industries, demolishing and recycling units, mineral extraction machines, foundry equipments, etc.

Amber offers AAL series IEC metric frame three phase and single phase motors. These motors are available in Aluminium Die Casted construction or in Aluminium Extrusion construction. These motors cater to the needs of the global customer for light weight and efficient motors with improved ventilation. Some of the benefits of aluminium over cast iron, include, high resistance to corrosion and atmospheric attack (except chlorine, salt-laden or sulphuric acid) and the fact that aluminium is approximately one third the weight of cast iron. Aluminium motors are also good at exhausting heat to the atmosphere faster than cast iron motors. The construction of aluminium motors being extruded or pressure die casted by LM6 material there are almost no chances of porosity in the motor body which results into its high strength though having thin metal.

Amber offers Capacitor Run Motors also know as Permanent Split Capacitor (PSC) motors wherein one capacitor is permanently connected in series with the auxiliary winding. Such Motors have a low locked rotor torque and current and is used mainly for driving fans, circular saws, polishing machines, centrifugal pumps. Etc where the shaft seal does not require a high breakaway torque. These single phase motor can only reverse when it stops completely before the rotational direction is changed. Amber single phase capacitor run motors are available in both cast iron and aluminium pressure die cast or extrusion enclosures. The double stator frequency torque pulsations would be eliminated in single phase capacitor run motors there by helping it run as a noise free motor as well as improve power factor and efficiency of the motor. Besides as the additional device for generating the starting torque is not required in these motors the size of the motors can be minimized.

Single Phase Capacitor Start Induction Run (CSIR) Motors offered by Amber are a type of split phase motors which consists of a starting capacitor connected to the starting or auxiliary winding series through a centrifugal or electronic switch. Since the capacitor is in series with the start circuit, it creates more starting torque, typically 200 to 400% of rated load. The application of these motor is wider due to higher starting torque and lower starting current. The CSIR Motors are used for compressors, pumps, refrigeration, air conditioning equipments and other hard to start loads. Capacitor Start Motors are generally termed as Work Horses of the general purpose single phase induction motors All Amber Split Phase motors are supplied in clockwise direction as viewed from the drive end shaft.
