These pumps are single stage, single suction, volute type, horizontal back pull out. They have an enclosed type, dynamically balanced impeller. Back vanes / balancing holes minimize axial thrust and pressure on stuffing box.

ADB Pumps are single stage, single suction, horizontal spindle type. It has a high efficiency volute type casing. Suction and discharge nozzles as well as the supporting feet are cast integral with the casing.
