Agarwood Oil Assam INDIA is also known as Oud oil, Aloeswood oil, Eagleswood Ud, Kiara, etc. and is an extremely rare and precious natural oil obtained from several species of Agarwood (Aquilaria sp.) trees. Agarwood originates in North Eastern India, Bhutan and parts of South East Asia, especially Vietnam and Cambodia and also the Philippines and Indonesia including Papua New Guinea. The Agar that we carry is from Aquilaria Agollocha, and it is plantationgrown in Assam, India, which was originally one of the richest areas of naturally occurring Agarwood trees. While there are still wild Agarwood trees to be found in inaccessible forest regions, they are extremely rare and very difficult to obtain. There are many grades of Agarwood, and the highest quality wood is extremely expensive. In fact, the first-grade wood is one of the most expensive natural products in the world, and the Agarwood Oil from wild Agarwood trees is one of the most expensive oils in the world.The oil is conventionally obtained by the water distillation process.Agarwood oil can be applied directly to the skin. Pure agarwood oil has a slow release effect Long lasting . A small amount of agarwood oil can be added to other oils to give a rich and complex depth and to fix the aroma of middle or top notes in perfume blending. Pure agarwood oil is also burned as incense, especially in Japan. It is used in spiritual ceremonies or holy occasions as a temple offering in the Muslim, Hindu and Buddhist traditions.

Cypriol (Nagarmotha) is a smooth, erect, perennial sedge. Its tubers are white and succulent when young, turning brown or black and fibrous with age. The erect, simple culms are smooth, solid and triangular in cross section. The culms are frequently up to 36-40 cm tall, occasionally to 70 cm, and have been found to reach 100 cm on moist fertile soils. The leaves originate from the base of the plant.
Nagarmotha contains pinenes and cineole. It is a neutral waxy substance and is used as a hair wash and treating hair and scalp disorders. It dilates the small capillary and acts on the sebaceous glands at the hair root and stimulates them. It has been in use for centuries for anointing body. It is also widely used for skincare, loose motions, excessive thirst and for reducing swellings. Nagarmotha Oil is used in perfumery compounds and in the manufacture of soaps, medicine, cosmetics and incence sticks. The use of Nagar motha essential oil is predominantly export oriented. Around 75% to 85% production is exported to European countries.

Rosewood oil is extracted from the chipped wood part of the plant Aniba rosaeodora of Lauraceae family and is considered as an effective cure for various skin infections. As a colorless to pale yellow liquid, it comes with characteristic and sweet odor.
Chemical Composition - The chemical composition of the oil includes a-pinene, camphene, geranial, neral, myrcene, limonene, 1, 8-cineole, linalool, benzaldehyde, linalool oxide and a-terpineol.

Uses- Rosewood oil finds usage in pharmaceutical as well as cosmetic industry and is a good cure for skin as it helps it protect from cases of dullness, acne, dryness, excessive oil and others. The therapeutic properties of rosewood oil include as antiseptic, aphrodisiac, bactericidal, anti-depressant, mildly analgesic, cephalic, insecticide and stimulant.
Ambrette is native to India, where it is known as Mushkdana or Kasturi Bhendi. The plant grows to just over a meter in height and is an evergreen shrub. When mature the pods split open to reveal kidney-shaped seeds that have a sweet, flowery, heavy fragrance.
Ambrette has long been appreciated in perfumery as one of the few plant oils that contains natural musk compounds, including one named after the plant, ambrettolide.
Many synthetic musks are cooked up in laboratories these days, but for people who care about natural products, there is no substitute for the natural.
Ambrette oil is expensive and rare because so much work goes into creating it. Unlike some oil crops where the plant leaves are used, Ambrette oil is made only from seeds, which weigh very little and must be carefully gathered.
Bergamot oil is extracted from the pear shaped yellow colored bergamot orange, and although native to Asia, it is commercially grown in Italy, France and Ivory Coast. The rind, juice and oil are still used for medicinal purposes by the Italians. Bergamot essential oil is popular in Wholesale Aromatherapy Oils applications, and its use in spas and wellness centers is common. This oil is extensively used in per- fumery, and to a smaller extent a^ a flavouring agent. It is obtained by expression from the rind of fruit of a species of Citrus, C. bergamia, the bergamot tree, which is cultivated for this purpose in various locahties in Calabria in Southern Italy, and notably near Reggio. As thus obtained bergamot oil is a limpid fluid, with a pronounced aromatic lemon-like odour, and a yellowish green colour due to dissolved chlorophyll. Rectification of the oil by further distillation will yield a colourless product, but does not increase the fragrant odour. Blends with-Cypress, Sandalwood, Juniper, Coriander, Black Pepper, Ginger, Clary Sage, Rosemary, Frankincense etc.
