The backpressure regulator maintains desired upstream pressure by varying the flow in response to changes in upstream pressure. Backpressure regulator is a normally-closed valve installed at the END of a piping system to provide an obstruction to flow and thereby regulate upstream (back) pressure. The backpressure regulator is called upon to provide pressure in order to draw fluid off the system.
Piston sensed high pressure regulators are used where the required outlet pressure is more than 35 bar and same cannot be controlled by a diaphragm sensed regulator. Solid pistons are used as sensing elements, where required outlet pressures are 35 bar & above.
Relief valve is a safety device used to limit or control pressure in a system or vessel which can built up by process upset, equipment failure etc. It is designed to open at a predetermined set pressure to safeguard equipment and systems from being subjected to pressures that exceed their design limits. Altair designs and manufactures wide range of pressure relief valve & proportional relief valve meeting exact customer requirement . Contact us with your detailed requirement and we shall recommend the valve suiting your exact needs.
