ALPHA CHEM-1241 Glass Distillation Unit

The Glass Distillation Unit is incorporating entrapment for making water for injection with heater embedded in glass tube. The assembly of Glass Distillation Unit consists of a corning glass flask with embedded heating elements fused in spiral with type glass coil internally at bottom. A double wall coiled condenser has standard ground glass joints. Complete with glass fitting, metallic stand, rights clamps and electrical fittings. The unit supplied is as per NPL patent design.

ALPHA CHEM-1243 Water Distillation Unit

Water distillers produce highly treated and disinfected water for laboratory usage. The distillation process removes minerals and microbiological contaminants and can reduce levels of chemical contaminants.

Municipal or well water is manually or automatically fed into the distiller units boiling chamber.A heating element in the boiling chamber heats the water until it boils.The steam rises from the boiling chamber. Volatile contaminants (gases) are discharged through a built-in vent. Minerals and salts are retained in the boiling chamber as hard deposits or scale.The steam enters a coiled tube (condenser), which is cooled by cool water.Water droplets form as condensation occurs.The distilled water is collected in a storage tank. If the unit is an automatic model, it is set to operate to fill the storage tank.

ALPHA CHEM-1240 Double Distillation unit

The main unit consist of a bottom Boiler and top Boiler with Condenser, which can be easily separated (Demountable ) for necessary cleaning or maintenance, if required. Bottom vent provided in bottom Boiler for general cleaning and maintenance

The main constituent of Quartz is SiO2 >99.9% which make the apparatus highly resistant to any thermal shock, devitrification and resistant to water and acids.

The electrical heaters are so designed, they do not come into contact with water because they are embedded inside a Quartz tube, hence nullifying the possibility of metal contamination by the heaters.

The given Volume of water in the Boiler during the distillation process is very Less, resulting in low heat loss, hence power is saved.

The distillate obtained from this apparatus is PYROGEN FREE. It is also FREE from metal ions.

ALPHA CHEM-1239 Water Distillation Unit barnstead type

Double walled construction with inner and outer chamber made of SS. The condenser and top are also made of SS. The raw water is first made to pass around the tubes in the condenser where it gets heated nearly to the boiling point thus economizing the heating energy. The heated water passed to the evaporator through a water level maintaining pipe. Excess water is let out through the drain. To work on 220/230 volts AC supply.
