White sugar is sugar which has been refined and washed so that it has a white appearance and no molasses flavour. It contains 99.9% sucrose. It is normally consumed in households and being relatively neutral in flavour, it is used as an ingredient in various edible processed foods and beverages.
It is a type of raw sugar, manufactured mainly in Brazil, which is classified as a chemical product which is easy to transport and need further refining before it can be used for consumption. In recent years, VHP sugar (raw sugar) has been a standard sugar category traded on the international market.
Vegetable Cooking Oil is probably the most commonly used of all the oils. It can be found frequently for use in recipes and can also be used for frying. Vegetable cooking oil is basically comprises 100% pure and blended of several oils such as RBD Palm Olein, Soft Oil and Blended Oil.

Moong bean is the seed of Vigna radiate, which is native to India. The beans are small, ovoid in shape, and green in colour. They are generally eaten either whole (with or without skins) or as bean sprouts, either in raw, soaked or boiled form.
Also Know as: Cajanus cajan, The pigeon pea is a perennial legume from the family Fabaceae. Since its domestication in India at least 3, 500 years ago, its seeds have become a common food grain in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. It is consumed in a large scale mainly in south Asia and is a major source of protein for the population of that subcontinent.
Kidney beans (Phaseolus vulgaris), also known as common beans, come from a twining, annual plant, where each alternating leaf consist of three broad to rhombic ovate pointed leaflets. The flowers are purple, yellow or white in the form of axillary sparse clusters. The material of the kidney bean pods are curled, yellow-white and thin pieces that take up to 15 centimeters of the fruit wall. The color of the beans depends on the variety. Red kidney beans have the dark red color, firm texture and glossy skin, making them the most common bean used in chilis, stews, soups and other dishes.
Alubia beans are a type of dry beans seeds, commonly known as white Rajma due to its resemblance shape with Red kidney beans or rajma. Alubia Beans white in color and an excellent source of protein for vegetarians.
Probably the most used seasoning besides salt, black pepper is listed as the worlds most traded spice. Black pepper is freshly handpicked from farms of rural Sri Lanka and Madagascar, and is then sent from our collection centers to our central warehouse for handling. Processed in state-of-the-art facilities, the black pepper exported by Alkhair Exports is dried in our very own industrial driers, graded for size by top-of-the-line machinery, and then cleaned in high-grade cleaning machines. Black pepper is native to Southeast Asia and has been linked to Indian cooking since 2 BCE. Besides its use as seasoning, black pepper was also used as an ingredient in to cure illnesses such as indigestion, insomnia, and tooth decay.
Cloves, which thrive in humid, tropical atmospheres, flourish in Sri Lankan, Malagasy and Indonesian climates. Gathering cloves from farmers and agents in Sri Lanka and Madagascar, Alkhair Exports has collection centers placed throughout both Islands. The cloves are then transported from the collection centers to our central warehouse where the cloves are processed. Dried in our very own sterile drying yards, they are then cleaned and packaged for international shipment worldwide. Cloves are mainly used in Asian and Middle Eastern cooking, and add a distinct flavor to a meal, pairing nicely with other ingredients such as cinnamon or basil. Though many spices are used for medicinal purposes, the clove has a distinct feature that makes it usable as a numbing agent on sensitive tissues thus making clove oil a popular product as well.
People around the world utilize nutmeg when preparing their native cuisine; Indonesian cuisine uses nutmeg mainly in soups, Europeans use it in many potato based recipes, and Indians are known to use nutmeg in a variety of sweet and savory dishes. Besides the sweetness it contributes to culinary concoctions, nutmeg oil is also extracted for use in the perfume industry. Supposedly, nutmeg was introduced to Sri Lanka by merchants who were traveling on the Silk Route, and can now be found in the lush hills of Kandy. Alkhair Exports discovers nutmeg from areas throughout India and Sri Lanka in raw form; the nutmeg is then dried in our own drying yards and graded for size using drying machines. Some of the nutmeg is cracked using advanced nutmeg deshellers for the export of nutmeg kernels. The final product is then packaged and exported for your convenience.
While nutmeg is the seed of the tree, mace is the covering of the seed, and once harvested, offers a distinct flavor on its own. Used to flavor sauces and a key ingredient in preserving or pickling, mace is considered to taste a little less sweet than nutmeg.
