We offer an exclusive and wide range of magnetic proximity switch, which senses the presence of magnetic field which gets activated when metal approaches the switch and sends specified signal. Also offered is a non-contact, piston detection sensor for use with steel hydraulic cylinders. These magnetic sensors offer reliable piston magnet detection and are easily mounted, without the need for mounting slots or holes in the cylinder.
Proximity Switches are solid state switching devices based on Eddy Current Loss Principle. An alternating electromagnetic Field is developed at the sensing face of the proximity switch. When any metallic object enters this field the eddy current increase. Optical Proximity switch offer non-contact sensing of almost any substance or object up to a range of 10 meters. These sensors consist of a light source (usually an LED, light emitting diode, in either infrared or visible light spectrum) and a detector (photodiode). Due to the high intensity infra-red energy beam, these sensors have major advantages over other opto-electronic systems when employed in dusty enviroments. With their focused beam and long range, opto-electronic sensors are increasingly used in applications where other sensing techniques are lacking in sensing distance or accuracy.
