Aks bearings ltd. Is a bearings manufacturing unit established in the year 1993 in vishwakarma industrial area, jaipur, rajasthan. The company manufactures wide range of bearings under the brand name of aks® viz. Single row deep groove ball bearing, taper roller bearings, needle roller bearing and bushes of various sizes which are being widely used in automobiles, agricultural equipments, electric motors, trucks, tractors, material handling equipments like conveyors, hoists, pulley chains, cranes etc., and other general purpose machines. These bearings are manufactured on machines procured from world leaders of bearing races grinding machines like heald usa, landis usa, cincinnati usa, bryant usa, gardner usa, uva sweden and jung germany etc. The raw material used for manufacturing bearings is an alloy steel of chromium having composition as specified in sae 52100 along with steel balls of grade 10 as per afbma and edd grade steel retainer. Aks is producing bearings ranging from 10mm bore to 100mm bore confirming to iso 492 standards. Aks constantly monitors quality and process efficiency at each stage to ensure a perfect product to meet the rapid increase in demand for quality, diversity of specifications and new type of bearings. To check the quality and performance of bearings, a variety of test instruments are used to monitor parameters such as fatigue life, surface roughness and roundness on tallyrond and tallysurf machines, radial internal clearances etc. Which ultimately result in the quality improvement.
