Chemsil Cement is a silicate based cement.It consists of powder and liquid.The Mortar, which is prepared by mixing the powder with the liquid, sets be a combination of chemical & physical action.This is the only cement which successfully resists attack from high concentrations of all oxidising acids, with the exception of hydrofluoric acid.This cement is used for setting and bonding of acid proof bricks and tiles for the construction of acid proof tank linings, floor surface etc.Due to its resistance to high temperature it is also used for lining chimneys, incinerators, roasters and other high temperature equipments. This offers resistance to almost all non-oxidising acids, acidic salts and organic solvents as it renders.This phenolic based Phenachem Cement has an outstanding capacity to resist Hydrofluoric Acid when used with graphite filled system.This cement provides resistance to most of the inorganic and organic acid with exception of strong oxidizing acid, such as Nitric Acid and Chromic Acid.This may also withstand weak alkalies and salt solution.Industrially, it is a successful combative against pickling solutions of various nature.

This is an intimate mixture of liquid resinous material and a powder composed of suitably selected filler usually containing the required setting agent.This is a non-porous, self hardening and relatively plastic in nature.When set and cooled a dense impermeable cement is obtained.It is designed to use as a bonding cement for Acid Proof Brick lining in Tanks, Vessels, Floor, Drains etc.
This cement provides resistance to most of the inorganic and organic acid(upto pH-3) with the exception of strong oxidising acid, such as, Cromic Acid and nitric acid.This also provides excellent resistance to a wide range of alkalies(upto pH-11), solvents(both aeromatic and aliphatic), salt solution etc.Industrially this cement finds wide application in gas scrubber, flue gas duct due to its resistance to wet gases.

An inorganic product consisting of molten mass of Sulphur and inert filler. In addition, presence of special plasticizer imparts superior thermal resistance qualities. Sulphur mortars have good resistance to most of the acids except strong oxidizing acids, but have poor resistance to most alkalis.Sulphur mortars are used for jointing of Acid proof bricks and tiles in floors, lining of storage tanks, pickling tanks, sumps, drains etc. Special care should be taken so that Sulphur is not overheated during melting process. |

This cement provides resistant to a wide range of non oxidising acids, alkalies, mixed solution but not recommended for use with aliphatic and aeromatic hydrocarbons. It can also with- stand to a reasonable extent oixidising acids such as Chromic Acid and Nitric Acid. When filled with graphite it is resistant to Hydrofluoric Acid. The special formulation providies ecellent protecion against mixture of HF and HNO2 in the pickling of Stainless Steel and alloy steels.
