When a VFD starts a motor, it initially applies a low frequency and voltage to the motor. The starting frequency is typically 2 Hz or less. Starting at such a low frequency avoids the high inrush current that occurs when a motor is started by simply applying the utility (mains) voltage by turning on a switch. When VFD starts, the applied frequency and voltage are increased at a controlled rate or ramped up to accelerate the load without drawing excessive current.
This starting method typically allows a motor to develop 150% of its rated torque while drawing only 50% of its rated current. When a motor is simply switched on at full voltage, it initially draws at least 300% of its rated current while producing less than 50% of its rated torque. As the load accelerates, the available torque usually drops a little and then rises to a peak while the current remains very high until the motor approaches full speed. A VFD can be adjusted to produce a steady 150% starting torque from standstill right up to full speed while drawing only 50% current.

Aiming to satisfy our clients optimally, we provide them with a quality approved array of PLC Panels. The offered panels are designed by our vendors’ skilled professionals, using optimum quality raw materials and latest technology in accordance with the international standards. To wire the control panels electronically is the primary function of PLC control panel. PLC panel will reduce the usage of number of relays. Space required for PLC is less when compared to relays hence there will be no space constraint.
Furthermore, offered products are made available in different sizes and various technical specifications to fulfill the various requirements of our clients.
Feeder pillars are the breaker panels which is the very first set of switching/protection device at the output/secondary side of the transformer and panel board is a set of switching/protection devices used for distribution of power supply.
Feeder pillar is an effective electrical enclosure to provide electrical services for low voltage electrical distribution applications. It is designed as compact and robust for vandalism protection. The metal enclosure is made of sheet steel of minimum 1.6mm thickness, mounted on a steel base frame of minimum 3mm thickness. Enclosure is suitable for outdoor application.

These can either be outdoor or indoor applications depending on the customer’s requirements. Marshalling kiosks are used to provide convenient connection points for the various control, protection and instrumentation wires which go to, and come from, all the different substation plants. This includes power, distribution and instrument transformers, switchgear and SCADA equipment.
Marshalling kiosks are usually custom designed for each application, ensuring the correct amount of equipment is included for both the currently envisaged requirement and for future expansion. They can be provided with front and rear access or front only access where substation space is limited.
Definition – HT panel is a metal enclosure fitted with HT Circuit Breakers, relays &metering that is used to receive 11KV/33KV supply (from one or more source) & distribute the power through its outgoing feeders. Outgoing feeder may be one or more it depends on the load of the building.
HT panel is installedin substations of Commercial complexes, residential colonies, factories, schools, hospitals etc. to receive & distribute HT supply.
