What is the difference between snorkelling and scuba diving?
Snorkelling and scuba diving both allow you to view the underwater world while being in the water. When snorkelling, you remain at the surface of the sea wearing a mask, snorkel, life jacket and fins that help you see, breathe, float and propel respectively. You breathe air directly from the atmosphere through a snorkel, which is essentially a small, curved tube held in your mouth.
When scuba diving, you swim underwater for a closer encounter with the marine life. You breathe air compressed and filled inside a scuba tank that you carry on your back dont worry, you dont feel the weight of the tank in the water. Non-swimmers can also scuba dive with an Instructor after basic training.
