High Voltage Fuse

Our offered Product range includes House Service Cutout, Under Ground Single Pole Cutouts, SINGLE POLE CUTOUTS, Cast Aluminium Cutouts and DMC Heavy Duty Cutouts.

House Service Cutout

The cutouts are designed for 60/80/100A rating complying with BS 7657:1993 and ESI 12-10.

General Construction

The Cutout Housing is of DMC with a quality finish from modern moulding tools to ensure accuracy in the various

parts for interchangeability. Mechanical and Di-electric strength. Brass inserts are provided wherever required for

fixing one part to another. Terminal Blocks are of Brass duly Tin plated, fitted with two large pinching screws per

conductor. The fuse carriers are designed for standard BS 88 / BS 1361 fuse links and standard copper contacts

having uniform pressure to ensure effective contact with long service life.

Following dimensions are standard:

Upto 60/80A 22.23 mm dia.-57 mm long II a

80/100A 30.16 mm dia.-57 mm long II b

Fuse Carriers: These are of split design, therefore it only necessitates to loosen the fuse clips when replacing a

fuse link. Fuse link can be withdrawn from the open end of the carrier half. Carrier housing is common for both 60A

& 100A fuse links. Upgrading of cutout can be done simply by replacing with larger fuse clips.

Sealing: The fuse carrier and fuse base unit have provision for wire sealing. An additional wire sealing

arrangement is provided for the neutral.

Phase Protection: A hinge type nylon shroud covers the incoming phase terminals thus reducing the possibility of

accidental contact with live parts when wiring the outgoing terminal.

Under Ground Single Pole Cutouts

The product finds its application for protection of underground lines and serves to disconnect a section of network during fault. The Underground Cutout is suitable for terminating aluminum or copper cables by pinching screw mechanism.

Designed to BS 88, the cutout is moulded in DMC compression moulding having high mechanical strength, is flame retardant and provides excellent all round impact strength. It is suitable for wedge type fuse links to BS 88 with 82.5 mm fixing center. Rated for 300A amperes, the product can also serve dual purpose of neutral link by connecting solid link of copper instead of fuse link.

Compact robust and built to latest BS and IEC specification, The Pole Mounted Single Pole Cutouts are ideal for mounting on poles for protection and disconnection of a low voltage over head network during faults.

Construction

The enclosure is made of DMC compression moulding and has a high mechanical strength, is Flame retardant and provides excellent all round impact strength ideally ?suited for outdoor applications.
Robust Copper tinned contacts designed to carry a current of 100 to 400 Amperes.
DMC fuse Carrier is fitted with wedge type thumb screw operated contacts for 82.5 mm HRC fuse links.
The fixing terminals are at an angle to the main body which gives clear accessibility for withdrawal of the carrier.

Each unit has two ribs behind the fixing holes which prevents it from swiveling on the circular poles. This also additionally helps to locate easily on the flange bolt.
Secure mounting with single bolt arrangement.
Top cover is removable for ease of installation and cabling.

The Cast Aluminum Cutouts are compact convenient & reliable products designed for indoor! outdoor applications . Their primary function is protct & safely distribute a 415 V, 3 P+N line for residential / industrial applications. They are designed for satisfactory performance in harsh atmospheric conditions of high temperatures & humidity.

The Heavy duty LV Cutouts are compact, convenient & reliable products designed as per BS 88. Their primary function is to protect

The product is Designed for 25A, single Phase & neutral lines as per BS 7654 Specifications. The unique design offers easy installation on the street lighting equipment.

* Housing is made up of high quality Dough Moulding compound (DMC) which offers excellent mechanical & Electrical strength besides imparting a sleek smooth finish.

* Available in Designs suitable for accommodating two core / four core cables as follows: Type- A-1 Suitable for accommodating one incoming two core cable & One outgoing two core cables. Type- B-1 Suitable for accommodating one incoming four core cable & one outgoing four core cable. Two cores from both incoming & outgoing cables can be looped without being electrically used through

two separate terminals.
