Nickel catalyst is used for Cracking of Raw Ammonia in Furnace to get Nitrogen & Hydrogen gas. Raw Ammonia Cracks in the Furnace in the presence of Nickle Catalyst & at high temperature 850 Deg c to break into 75% H2 + 25% N2.

We design develop and provide heat exchangers for applications across various industries. Our heat exchangers are based on latest technology and are fabricated with qualitative raw material to ensure durability and chemical resistance. Air enters the shell side and cooling water circulates in tube side. Baffles are provided inside the shell to increase the residential time for air. A dampener also provided at the air inlet to reduce the pulsations.

To monitor oxygen level in Nitrogen Gas Generator we required to install an Oxygen Gas Analyzer. This Analyser will be digital type mounted in Control Panel. In case of high O2%, it will give signal on panel and in turn impure gas shall be vented to atmosphere through vent valve provided in our system.

Cracked Ammonia finds wide application in steel industry for various heat treatment processes. We design, manufacture and supply customized ammonia cracker to meet customers demand as per their requirements. Heat treatment results are found very sound in the presence of mixture of hydrogen and inert nitrogen.

Basic Description

Ammonia gas from cylinders passed over a bed of nickel catalyst at 850C temperature and cracking take place in two different gas i.e. 75% Hydrogen and 25% Nitrogen.

Ammonia cracking is endothermic reaction and require heat from other source. The source is electrically heated/gas fired furnace (Rectangular Shape) and a retort made of heat resistance alloy is provided to hold the ammonia cracking catalyst.

Cracked ammonia from furnace is cooled to ambient temperature in a shell &Tube type heat exchanger and having dew point around (-) 30C. Further product gas is passed through a molecular sieves filled Gas Purifier to achieve a dew point up to (-) 80C.

Moisture Separators We manufacture a great range of moisture separators with inlet and outlet connections screwed or flanged and drain connection and a vent connection. Compressed air enters the separator tangentially and passed through the demister pad made of stainless steel wire mesh. A water droplet impinges against each wire and settled in the bottom and separated it from the drain. For a better efficiency Automatic Moisture Drain Trap (ADT) can be provided at the drain for efficient separation.
