AFi's AVF-350 is a self-cleaning viscous air filter using a spinning curtain of metal screen as the filtering media. Behind the filter media roll is an endless roll of oil drop eliminator. When the filter media is loaded and the pressure drop increases, a totally enclosed thermally protected geared motor moves the filter media and oil drop eliminator which pass through a viscous oil bath located at the bottom of the filter. The viscous oil cleans the filter media and the oil drop eliminator ensures that the oil is not carried into the air stream. The slush collected in the oil bath needs to be cleaned periodically.
AFI's DGF-80 is been imported from Germany and is been used in both onshore and offshore locations as a prefilter It is a disposable, adhesive impregnated glass fiber pad held in a permanent retaining frame. The frame provides a quick opening latch, allowing the DGF-80 to be easily replaced. Since no filter frame is required with each purchase, the DGF-80 is less expensive to replace when compared to beverage board or plastic framed filters. Also available in Roll & pad form
AFi's DCP-81 is been imported from Germany and is a heavy-duty, high efficiency mist eliminator pad that can be used in several different configurations to meet the specific needs of any application. Because the DCP-81 Pad operates at a low pressure drop and is easily replaceable, it is economical to use in engine and compressor Usage Zone. The unique construction of the DCP-81 Pad provides excellent free moisture removal at velocities up to 850 FPM.
The Fiberglass Pocket filters are constructed of an ultra fine glass fiber media. The media is bonded to a thin non-woven synthetic backing and sewn with multiple rows of expanded stitching. The stitch is flexible to help maintain pocket shape in changing conditions. All stitching is sealed with thermoplastic resin to prevent any possible leakage. The header is constructed of 24 gauge galvanized steel to prevent rusting and provide rigid support to the filter face.

AFi Pocket Cubes are made with a two-stage 100% non-woven polyester media. The seams of all AFi Cubes are sewn together for maximum durability. The Internal Supported Cubes use a heavy-duty internal wire frame for added rigidity. The back panels of the Unitized Cubes are fastened in the center for better airflow and media utilization. Our Pocket Cubes offers medium efficiency in a wide range of applications. The rigid, self-seal design of these filters helps prevent air bypass and allows the filters to operate under adverse conditions, especially where high humidity is present. The open fibers on the intake layer catch the larger particles allowing the finer particles to be caught by the dense outflow layer. The AFi Pocket Cubes are less restrictive to airflow and performs well in moderate dust loading applications. Filters perform well in both variable and constant volume systems
AFi's Air Handling Unit's (often abbreviated to AHU), is a device used to condition and circulate air as part of a heating, ventilating and air-conditioning system. An air handler is usually a large insulated metal box containing a blower, heating or cooling coils, filters, sound attenuators and dampers. Air handlers usually connect to duct works that distribute the conditioned air through the building and return it to the AHU. Sometimes AHUs discharge (supply) and admit (return) air directly to and from the space served without duct work. Our AHU's are designed for lower foot prints, higher energy efficiency, modularity and a host of other features like thermal braking and other custom designed features.
BoonsAFi Filter Bag cages are available in a variety of configurations, finishes and materials, including stainless steel. We manufacture single piece cages up to 23 ft (7 m) in length or multiple section cages in unlimited lengths. Strict control of quality and process enables AFi to meet the most demanding customer specifications and delivery schedules. Heavy duty and shipping crates are used to protect the cages during shipment and at the job site.
SPY High grade ASHRAE, HEPA & ULPA grade media are engineered for use in a wide range of absolute clean air applications. These media are engineered to offer higher filtration performance versus standard micro-glass media. These products are available in efficiencies up to 99.995% @ 0.3m and can be used in both deep & mini-pleat designs.
Auto Roll filter units are available in a wide range of size and feature options. The filter uses an Industrial grade fiberglass media which automatically renews when prompted by a pressure drop based sensor. Along with pressure drop sensing the filter also has media run out alarm. The intelligent control panel can be placed besides the filter unit or can be integrated with the centralized building control. The unit is equipped with a totally enclosed thermally protected motor.
