Nitro-109 liquid biofertilizer contains cell count of 109 cfuml nitrogen fixing bacteria azotobacter chroococcum which remain around seeds in rhizosphere and use organic carbon including sugars, organic acids and amino acids released from germinated seeds in soil or root exudates, fixes atmospheric nitrogen which is inaccessible to plants and release it in the form of ammonium ions into the soil for plant uptake. Azotobacter chroococcum in nitro-109 secretes growth promoting substances like vitamins, nicotinic acid, indole acetic acid, gibberellins etc which helps in better germination, root and shoot growth and increase in productivity.
Potash-109 liquid biofertilizer contains cell count of 109 cfuml potash mobilizing bacteria (kmb). Potassium enhances photosynthesis and transport of assimilates (sugar and starches) to the storage organs (fruits, roots & seeds). It is involved in cell enlargement and in triggering the growth of young tissues. A significant share of soil potassium occurs in unavailable form in soil minerals (upto 98%) and the concentration of soluble potassium (k) in soil, which is readily taken up by plants is usually very low (1-2%). Potash mobilizing bacteria (kmb) in potash-109 produce organic acids which influence mineral potassium dissolution rate, there by making soluble potassium readily available to plants.
