V Wire screens are fabricated in pipe form from wires. A V Shaped profile wire is spirally wound around a cage of longitudinal support rods. Each intersecting point of these wires is fusion welded. The Pitch of winding gives different spacing between two adjacent turns of wire, This space becomes passage for water to enter. One end of the screen is closed by a flat screen pf same slot opening and the other end is fitted with a threaded ring and end cap for resting on the pump.The submersible pump with motor is to be fitted inside this jacket. Thus it ensures that water reaching the pump is filtered through screen and clear water column is available to pump. This reduces wear and tear og pump impellers due to sand in an existing tube-well.
Salient Feature
The PVC insulated and sheathed 3 core flat cables are used for giving electrical connection to the submersible pump motors. These are manufactured keeping in mind the severe, tough and difficult conditions in which they have to operate. The slot available in the tube well being narrow the shape of the cables has to be suited for such an application. These cables conform to and are marked IS 694: 1990 up to 4.0 sq. mm. The sizes above 4.0 sq.mm. cables generally conform to IS 694 : 1990.
FeaturesManufactured from bright-annealed 99.97% pure bare copper conductors these cables have low conductor resistance. The inner cores are insulated with a special grade PVC compound formulated and manufactured in-house. The tough robust outer PVC jacket protects it from the oils, greases, various chemicals and abrasions, thereby giving long life and electrical safety.

HIGH PRESSURE UPVC THREADED PIPES
These pipes are manufactured as per ASTM D 1785 standard and are available in SCH 40, 80, and 120 pressure class. These pipes are generally used for plumbing, water supply and jet pumps. ASTM threaded pipes are 30-40% cheaper to G.I. pipes. The system is UV-stabilized.

Pipes are available in 75 to 160mm and fittings are available in 40 to 160mm sizes. Pipes conforms to IS 13592:92 and fittings conforms to IS 14735:99 and are made as per international standards.
Self Primimng Pumps are normally manufactured as per IS: 8472. These Self Priming Domestic Pumps are light in weight with rugged construction design and balanced parts which give noiseless operation for a longer duration. Mild Steel (MS) pipes are manufactured using low carbon (less than 0.25%) steel. Due to low carbon content the pipes do not harden and are easy to use. As MS Pipes are made from mild steel they can easily be welded and formed in various shapes and sizes for pipelining and tubing purposes. Tube wells generally fails due to problems like corrosion and encrustation associated with conventional pipes. Due to corrosion the strainer screens get damaged and the sand particles enters along with the water. Due to encrustation, pipe diameter as well as effective area of screen get reduces and hence tube well becomes unserviceable in short period.
