Freeze Drying is the process of removing the moisture from a biological product while maintaining the Integrity of the products biological & chemical structure and activities. Freeze drying technology is used in particular for removal of moisture from the products usually of biological origin without causing any noticeable change in the original characteristics. Freeze Drying is also the preferred process in the field of Pharmacy, Chemistry and in conservation of food. Heat-sensitive biological materials may be freeze-dried without affecting their potency. The dried materials may be stored for years at room temperature without loss of their original characteristics. The freeze-dried material may be transported and shipped in small containers, and no provision is necessary for refrigeration en route.
Beside the normal drying applications our freeze driers are fit to be used for various applications tests involving micro-organisms, plants, tissues etc apart from various customized industrial and research applications.
Bacterial growth and enzyme action do not take place in freeze-dried products. Proteins do not coagulate. Oxidation of many materials such as hemoglobins and vaccines is completely prevented when drying and sealing is done under high vacuum.

Tray driers for drying of thermal sensitive materials which get easily resolved, polymerized or deteriorated under higher temperature. It offers no contamination due to closed arrangement inside drier. It is well accepted for economical drying of granules, powder, food material & chemicals.
A highly effective recirculating air system is provided in the Tray Dryers. The heated air, is recirculated with fresh air in selected proportions for optimum drying. The system is designed so that the materials at the top & the bottom dry simultaneously. Uniform air circulation, controlled temperature, sturdy construction and large working space are the valuables of the oven which is suitably designed to cover wide temperature range.

Vacuum tray driers for drying of thermal sensitive materials which get easily resolved, polymerized or deteriorated under higher temperature. Heat sensitive materials can be driedat low temperatures under vacuum, since the environmental pressure is reduced below the vapour-pressure of the contained water or solvents. Oxidation or Contamination by Air is eliminated. HollowFibers, Medical Devices, Chemical Salts, Fine Chemicals, Dyes, Glandular Products, Pharmaceuticals andFood Extracts (Gluten, Glues, Pepsin), Rubber Explosive, etc. are ideally suited for drying in this manner.
Drying under vacuum is also environmentally friendly because the Evaporated Solvents can easilybe re-condensed. These solvents can then either be recycled or disposed of without any problem.
