This is an electrode that has been wire-cut on brand new MV1200S with different top and bottom profiles. It is used for EDM Sparking on a metal workpiece.

This product is solely developed by Accurate Industries. Its most important process is wire-cutting. It has angular rotation in top & bottom profile. This makes the gear teeth to form an angle.

This product is an international substitute. Accurate Industries solely develops this product as per the customer requirements. We are also involved in the R & D of the same with the customer. Cutter fits in the holder with a screw. The cutter has a complex profile, meaning that it has different top and bottom profiles. The holder goes through various processes like CNC turning, grinding, EDM sparking, CNCwire cutting, etc.

These are CAM inserts that has been gone through two settings in wire-cut. The Cam inserts have complex profile that can be seen in the images to the left. Required concentricity for it is within 10 microns.

We currently have four wire-cut (wire erosion) machines. Customers can choose from a range of variety in accuracy for their workpieces as the machines are in an order of increasing accuracy. Maximum accuracy to be expected with us is 5 microns including setting errors. We also do less accuracy job works those have tolerance of about 15 microns. However, the accuracy of the latest machine itself is 3 microns.
