| Pug mixer inner walls are constructed of SS or MS sheets. The mixer consists of a centre shaft of appropriate diameter and is either made of S.S or M.S materiaI. The centre shaft is fitted with specially designed agitator blades in order to provide contraflow action. Contraflow ensures constant circulation of mix/blend ingredients from one end to another to homogenise the batch.Both the ends of the vessel are provided with stuffing boxes on the shaft. Blend ingredients are prevented from leaking and entering into bearings by the stuffing box. The shaft is supported by heavy duty pedestals. For models below 300 kgs the unit is provided with a pulley drive system along with tilting arrangement for discharge. For models above 300 kgs the unit is provided with a gearbox drive coupled to a motor and the discharge valve provided at the bottom. |

This type of machine has the most efficient design for rapid blending and mixing at low operating speeds.The design consists of shallow vertical cylinder with a cone of carefully engineered angle located at each end.Products mixed can be dicharged directly into the container if desired by means of a butterfly valve fitted at the end of the cone. The blender is available either in M.S. Or S.S 304/316 materials. The drive consists of a motor coupled to a suitable gearbox to give the desired RPM.

It consists of a centre shaft of appropriate diameter and are either made of S.S. or M.S.material. The centre shaft is fitted with specially designed agitator blades in order to provide contraflow action. All the material in the mixer is constantly circulated from one end to the other. In larger mixer it is provided with inner and outer ribbons Sweeps maybe added to the outer ribbon to provide through clean out. The outer ribbons move ingredients towards the discharge while the inner ribbons contantly circulated material in opposite direction. The either ends of the vessel are provided with stuffing boxes on the shaft diameter. This stuffing box prevents leakage of material and also prevents material from entering into the bearings. The shaft is supported on heavy duty pedestals. The mixer is provided with a hopper and discharge. The drive consists of a suitable gear box coupled to the motor.
