Manufacturing Process

Being widely used in the packaging sector, BOPP Woven bags inherit the qualities from its manufacturing process. It all starts with PP granules in the tapeline. Appropriate tapes made from the HDPE/PP granules move forward towards the looms where it takes the shape of fabric after weaving. Simultaneously the new BOPP film gets printed on the reverse rotogravure printing machine with the help of engraved cylinders as per the design, and is turned into a printed BOPP film. The fabric obtained from looms is then laminated with the printed BOPP film with the help of extrusion lamination process. After this the printed & laminated fabric roll moves towards the final stage of its manufacturing process, which is the finishing stage. Manufacturing Process

The manufacturing of Block Bottom Bags involves various vital steps. It begins with loading a tubular roll of coated/laminated – printed woven fabric on the machine. As it passes through the machine, the fabric is first cut according to the bag cut length. Then, at the end(s) of the bag, one side of the fabric is flipped over the other and sealed hermetically (air-tight) using heat and pressure. Another roll unwinds itself to provide a rectangular strip to overlap the bag’s tight end(s). This process is called patching. The patch’s material is the same as that of the bag, and the size is predetermined. The creation of the valve takes place while the patch is attached. Finally, the block bottom bag is collected at the end of the machine.

Manufacturing Process

The manufacturing of Block Bottom Bags involves various vital steps. It begins with loading a tubular roll of coated/laminated – printed woven fabric on the machine. As it passes through the machine, the fabric is first cut according to the bag cut length. Then, at the end(s) of the bag, one side of the fabric is flipped over the other and sealed hermetically (air-tight) using heat and pressure. Another roll unwinds itself to provide a rectangular strip to overlap the bag’s tight end(s). This process is called patching. The patch’s material is the same as that of the bag, and the size is predetermined. The creation of the valve takes place while the patch is attached. Finally, the block bottom bag is collected at the end of the machine.

Majorly PP woven Block Bottom Bags are made using coated & printed woven fabric. On the other hand BOPP laminated Block Bottom bags are made using BOPP laminated & printed woven fabric.

Introduction

Multifilament yarn is one of the most indispensable parts of the packaging industry. It is manufactured using threads, and these threads are known as filaments. The yarns are spun on machines after the filament is extruded. Since the diameter of the threads in multifilament yarn is tiny, the bending stiffness is very low, aiding the flexibility of the yarn. These filaments are measured in units like Denier.

Uses

Multifilament yarn is very useful in the packaging world. For the manufacturing of bags, multifilament yarn is just like oxygen. The threads used for the stitching of bags are made from the multifilament yarn. Also, the narrow woven fabric is made from it.

Manufacturing Process

Knack Packaging has the latest machinery that makes manufacturing much easier and effective. The same implies to our multifilament yarn manufacturing unit, which is the most helpful part of our plant. In the manufacturing process, we start with the raw materials (granules) which are placed near the barrel. These raw materials are dumped into the barrel. After that, these materials are heated at extreme temperatures, which turn the granules into liquid. Now, another part of the machine functions where the melted material is passed through the melt pump/screen changer. After that, the material is cooled off. In the process, numerous fibers converge into a multifilament yarn and further with small manual aid the rest of the process is done.

Material Combination

Polypropylene granules and Master Batch are used majorly for making Multi Filament yarn.
