This is used to measure wind speed. Cup counter in which the run of wind in kilometers and tenths is indicated directly on a revolution counter. From the readings of the counter at the beginning and end of a specified period, either 3 minutes or one day, the mean wind speed over the period is calculated.
The instrument has a cup rotor assembly having 3 conical cups which are freely rot table in horizontal plane. The cup rotor spindle is connected to a worm and gear of a ratio and further coupled with a revolution counter, the counter has the five figures can read up to 9999.9 Kms. Before repeating itself and is enclosed in a water proof housing, which is mounted on a supporting arm.

• Used for measuring the water level in natural watercourse, bores & dams etc. Digitizes signals are stored in a rugged compact data logger which records & stores the data of level events in its memory with real time clock day/ month/ year/ Hr/ min/ sec. Data logger has RS 232 serial port which allows direct communication with PC on site.
• Water level is sensed by Shaft encoder (Float & Counter weight actuated) Sensoror Pressure Transducer type sensor.

The wind vane consist of a horizontal arm carrying a rectangular flat fin mounted by means of thrust rod and brass bushes in a support. The Horizontal arm is balanced about its axis of rotation by a counter weight attached to the end opposite to the fin. The vane eight direction rods are supported on a suitable galvanized iron pipe threaded into a base casting. Four direction arms carry the letter N.E.S and W which point towards the corresponding true direction while four direction rods indicate the intermediate directions. The Position of counter weight with respect to 8 direction arms indicates the wind direction and may easily be determined by interpolation to the nearest 16 points of the compass.

• Complete with data logger cum display unit, solar panel, tripod stand, water proof enclosure, Weather link software having sensor for Rainfall, temperature, Humidity, Wind Velocity, wind direction, Evaporation.
• Records the data with real time clock and store the date in built memory.
