The applications- for melting or softening the hard pitch compound of around 2kg. Spread over 20-30 cm.radius area. Main constituents of pitch are shallac, chalk powder, resins etc. The temperature required is around 150-200`C. The hot air gun with air flow is required for continuous running of 30-60 minutes. When the pitch is so fluid by heat it becomes mobile so that thin copper sheet can be fixed and the emboss/ repousse` work is carried out by tools to obtain three dimensional designs manually. Less
